The Elyx project is being built in the centre of the residential municipality of Woluwe-Saint-Lambert. This contemporary, human-sized building has 55 apartments and offices for independent professionals on the ground floor. Some of the apartments also have a view of Malou Park and its water feature.

Elyx is situated near the shops of the Woluwe Shopping Center and Woluwe Park. The project is close to several public transport routes and residents have good access to major roads, Brussels Airport and the EU institutions. Elyx is playing a part in the reconversion of Boulevard de la Woluwe and its public amenities, making it even more consistent with the new function that is attributed to housing in general.

Architecture

The Axent architecture firm designed this project in close collaboration with Eaglestone. Their dynamic enthusiasm is apparent in the project’s ambitious, human and pure architecture. The project’s location, its orientation and the materials were given a lot of consideration, ensuring that this is an environment-friendly development.

The techniques and materials were rigorously selected to comply with the most stringent environmental criteria, so the apartments in Elyx are very energy-efficient. The architects particularly focused on acoustic and thermal insulation.
